How We Started
Moo Moo’s Burger Barn is family owned. Two brothers conceived the concept and, with the support of their family members, designed and opened the first restaurant in downtown Lodi, on February 24, 2003. The restaurant was well received and proved to be a success. Our focus on quality, service and value, meant serving our guests fine ingredients the way we would want to be served.
Thanks to our guests and employees, we opened the second restaurant in downtown Stockton, on April 17, 2004. Except for few improvements, the concept and design remained the same. Sacramento’s UPN 31 featured the restaurant on its Good Morning Sacramento show – “The Best Burger in the Valley.” The third, fourth, and fifth locations followed and there are plans for Moo’re locations.
About The Founders
The Moo Brothers have been around the hospitality business all of their lives. They are focused on nurturing slow growth, offering an excellent guest experience and enriching the lives of their employees. We care deeply about EACH guest’s experience and opinion, and take extreme personal pride in every aspect of the operation. Seventy five percent (75%) of our employees have been an integral part of the team for over 5 years; some have been with us since the beginning. We foster the value of EACH guest and require all members to take pride in their work, whether it is cooking, serving, or cleaning.
